Josh Wagner is a clay based artist living in Nashville, TN. Originally from southern New Jersey (Pennsville), Josh first moved to Tennessee in 1998 and attended Union University in Jackson. While at Union, he studied darkroom photography and ceramics earning a Bachelor’s degree. His artwork ranges from functional pottery to expressive torsos and figures in clay. For more than a decade, Josh has taught pottery and sculpture classes—including teaching positions in Lipscomb University’s art department and community centers in Nashville. Josh’s love for art and community engagement has served him well in his teaching career, and he now serves as Director of Centennial Art Center, a local community-based education program for the visual arts sponsored by Metro Parks and Recreation. Additionally, he is a licensed real estate agent affiliated with Village Real Estate in Hillsboro Village.
