With roots embedded deep in the Appalachian Mountains, Lauren Moore has always been drawn to nature and the beauty found in the natural environment. Growing up in a small town, with a strong sense of family and community, had a profound influence on who she is.
Lauren attended The Haslam College of Business at The University of Tennessee, where she studied Marketing and International Business. After graduating in 2009, Lauren interned in New York, and decided to return to Tennessee to pursue her true passion, Interior Design.
During her education at O'More College of Design in Franklin, TN, she traveled abroad throughout Italy and Scandinavia. It was there that Lauren fell in love with European architecture and furniture design. While in design school, Lauren worked with Bristol Development designing interiors of several high end condos at the Icon, in the Gulch. She also spent three years interning for the prominent design firm McAlpine. Upon graduation, Lauren began working for Carolyn Kendall at Alcott Interiors, where she continued designing high-end residential spaces across Middle Tennessee.
Her collective experience can be seen through her work. Lauren’s design aesthetic fuses the natural and built environment, all while reflecting the beauty and beliefs of the inhabitants. She believes strongly that the soul of the home is created by those who dwell within. Trademarks of her design are spaces that are both polished, and functional. Blending quality materials, both old and new, are critical parts of her craft.
When Lauren is not immersed in the design world, she spends time with her family. Lauren is married to Kellen Moore and they have two beautiful children, Bennett Anne and Kellen Alexander. She enjoys special occasions and holiday design, estate sale hunting, and spending time in the community with friends. Her ultimate goal is to create an environment that blends antiquity and modernity for timeless living, all while making her clients vision a reality.
